Sermon Title: Sexual Perversion and Muslims’ Stance Thereon

All praise is due to Allah, the Lord of the worlds, the Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate, and the Master of the Day of Judgment. I bear witness that there is no deity worthy of worship except Allah, the One without any partner, the Guardian of the righteous people. I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and Messenger, and the faithful and honest Prophet. May Allah exalt and send peace to him, his family, and his companions.
To proceed,
O servants of Allah! Fear Allah, as He should be feared, and be mindful of Him in private and public:
يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ ٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَكُونُوا۟ مَعَ ٱلصَّـٰدِقِينَ
“O you who have believed, fear Allāh and be with those who are true.” [9:119]
Dear Muslim Brothers!
Allah has created all people from a male and a female, as He says:
يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّاسُ إِنَّا خَلَقۡنَٰكُم مِّن ذَكَرٖ وَأُنثَىٰ
“O mankind, indeed We have created you from male and female” [49: 13]
And made all humans, like their parents [Adam and Eve], of two genders: males and females, as He says:
وَأَنَّهُۥ خَلَقَ ٱلزَّوۡجَيۡنِ ٱلذَّكَرَ وَٱلۡأُنثَىٰ
“And that He creates the two mates, the male and female.” [53: 45]
Allah has given each gender unique characteristics and qualities that differentiate it from the other,
وَلَيۡسَ ٱلذَّكَرُ كَٱلۡأُنثَىٰۖ
“And the male is not like the female.” [Quran 3: 36]
The wisdom of Allah behind this is to enable each of them to fulfill their respective roles in life, complement each other, and multiply and reproduce so that there shall be successive generations to populate and develop the earth.
From the very beginning of their existence, humans have the innate nature of differentiating between males and females, and recognizing the differences between both of them in terms of their nature and abilities:
فِطۡرَتَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلَّتِي فَطَرَ ٱلنَّاسَ عَلَيۡهَاۚ لَا تَبۡدِيلَ لِخَلۡقِ ٱللَّهِ
“[Adhere to] the fitrah of Allah upon which He has created [all] people. No change should there be in the creation of Allah.” [30:30]
O Servants of Allah!
It is Allah who determines the gender of humans while they are still in their mother's wombs. It is reported in the two Sahihs of al-Bukhari and Muslim that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: “Allah appoints an angel to the womb and says: ‘O Lord, it is now a sperm-drop; O Lord, it is now a clot; O Lord, it is now a lump of flesh.’ And when Allah wills to complete their creation, He [the angel] says: 'O Lord, a male or a female? Fortunate or unfortunate? What will their provision be? What will their lifespan be?' So it is written thus in their mother's womb.”
As life cannot go in balance without the existence of both genders, who have innate differences from each other, the Sharia rulings have kept this distinction. Therefore, the Islamic Sharia states that it is forbidden for men to imitate women and women to imitate men. In Sahih al-Bukhari, it is narrated from Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: “The Prophet (ﷺ) cursed effeminate men and masculine women, and said: 'Expel them from your homes.’”
Moreover, the Sharia forbids men to wear silk and gold, as they are part of women's attire, which goes in harmony with their nature, characterized by softness, love of adornment, and cuteness.
All these provisions aim to uphold the divine wisdom and norms of creation so that both genders can enjoy peace and tranquility, mental balance and psychological stability.
Dear Brothers!
Since the time of Adam (peace be upon him) to our day, all followers of religions and divine laws have agreed that a person is either a male or a female, and this was how humanity acted since the dawn of its existence, except for a small, deviant minority who have reached such levels of impudence, foolishness, and baseness that neither humans nor even animals have ever reached.
One of Satan's deceptions in perverting humanity and leading the descendants of Adam (peace be upon him) to Hell is to call them to change Allah’s creation and alter the natural disposition He instilled within them. The Satan said, as Allah the Almighty informed us:
وَلَأُضِلَّنَّهُمۡ وَلَأُمَنِّيَنَّهُمۡ وَلَأٓمُرَنَّهُمۡ فَلَيُبَتِّكُنَّ ءَاذَانَ ٱلۡأَنۡعَٰمِ وَلَأٓمُرَنَّهُمۡ فَلَيُغَيِّرُنَّ خَلۡقَ ٱللَّهِ
“And I will mislead them, and I will arouse in them [sinful] desires, and I will command them so they will slit the ears of cattle, and I will command them so they will change the creation of Allah.” [4:119]
Following in the footsteps of the Satan, its minion followers went forth, calling for the alteration of human nature by opening the door to changing one's gender from a male to a female, or from a female to a male. They called for same-sex marriages and advocated that people can follow their own perverted desires and the evil whims of their hearts. As a result, they proposed more than eighty different genders, expressing this irreligious and immoral chaos through an attractive slogan bearing the symbolism of multiple colors.
They made a disconnection between the sex a person is born with and the social “gender,” which persons choose by themselves. Thus, one becomes a male or a female when they wish so, and the innate sex a person is born with has nothing to do with this.
In doing so, they implement the Satan's intention to alter Allah’s creation, along with some other motives, such as gaining money from these calls and the revenues generated by pharmaceutical companies and gender reassignment operations. Also, among their goals is to limit population growth due to their claim of insufficiency of our world resources to meet such increase.
Another purpose behind these calls is to destroy the family institution, which places children under the guardianship and care of their parents, who raise, educate, and instill values within them. However, those human devils want to take over the upbringing of children through their corrupt media and education systems, far from the watchful eyes and awareness of parents.
They also aim to facilitate children’s access to sexual content, as it became clear from the actions of their leaders and prominent figures. We now see the manifestations of legitimizing this in several Western countries - may Allah disgrace and humiliate them, and may their evils backfire on them!
Among their objectives also is to destroy the universally agreed-upon values, so that no value stands acceptable and no moral behavior remains a point of consensus. This opens the door wide to atheism and turns humanity into ferocious beasts in a jungle ruled by the law of survival of the strongest.
These are a few among other vile purposes and malicious goals that they pursue - may Allah never allow them to achieve them.
O Servants of Allah!
No one is now unaware of the disastrous consequences of this thought on humanity. Such calls corrupt the human natural disposition, which, when perverted, shall necessarily incur nothing but psychological disorder and behavioral deviation. Consequently, one should not be astonished at the ensuing crimes, catastrophes, and psychological disorders that lead to destruction and suicide.
This call entails the spread of incurable diseases and epidemics, such as monkeypox, which appeared recently, and AIDS, which spreads among them seven times faster than among others. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said the truth when he said, “Never does obscenity become widespread among a people to the point where they publicize it, except that plagues and pains, which were not present among their ancestors, become widespread among them.” [Reported by Ibn Majah]
This call incurs destructive consequences such as: fall of faith, corruption of lineage, destruction of the family, loss of children, annihilation of human beings, and devastation of societies, that will turn into herds of lustful creatures with perverted nature, intellect, and preferences.
Most seriously, such a call—away from all these consequences—brings the wrath of the Almighty Lord and His severe threat of punishment in this world and torment in the Fire.
مُّسَوَّمَةً عِندَ رَبِّكَۖ وَمَا هِيَ مِنَ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ بِبَعِيدٖ
“Marked from your Lord. And Allah ‘s punishment is not from the wrongdoers [very] far.” [11:83]
The people of Lot practiced homosexuality and incurred Allah’s punishment and chastisement. Allah, the Exalted, said:
فَلَمَّا جَآءَ أَمۡرُنَا جَعَلۡنَا عَٰلِيَهَا سَافِلَهَا وَأَمۡطَرۡنَا عَلَيۡهَا حِجَارَةٗ مِّن سِجِّيلٖ مَّنضُودٖ * مُّسَوَّمَةً عِندَ رَبِّكَۖ وَمَا هِيَ مِنَ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ بِبَعِيد
“So when Our command came, We made the highest part [of the city] its lowest and rained upon them stones of layered hard clay, [which were].” [11: 82-83]
May Allah make His Book, the Glorious Qur'an, a blessing for you and me, and may He make us avail of its verses and reminders contained in it. With that said, I ask Allah’s forgiveness for me and for you. So, you also should ask for Allah’s forgiveness. Indeed, the successful are those who seek forgiveness.
The Second Sermon
All praise is due to Allah, and may His peace and blessings be upon the Messenger of Allah, his family, his companions, and whoever follows his guidance. To proceed,
O Muslims:
Verily, the advocates of sexual aberration and immorality have mobilized every possible means to implement their wicked scheme. They have drafted laws and regulations for such perversion, criminalizing any opposition under the pretext of defending freedoms and human rights. They falsely associate this perversion with knowledge and research, and introduce it into school curricula and educational activities. They promote it through movies and cartoons, and disseminate it through an irreligious colored slogan. They have reached all countries, or even all houses, to the degree that one can hardly feel safe, for himself or his family, from such dangerous filth.
Actually, in recent time, they come to be very active, with many countries supporting them, large corporations backing them, and foolish celebrities promoting them on social media. They even designated this month to support this perversion, calling it a month of “Pride,” with an unprecedented shameless boast about vice.
May these faces turn gloomy and pale, showered with Allah’s multiple curses and continuous wrath!
It is your duty, as a Muslim, to be vigilant and cautious. Be aware that they target your sons and daughters to corrupt their innate nature, distort their minds, and cut off their sense of pride in their values. You must be alert to their means and messages, fortify yourself, your family, and your children against their plots and schemes, and warn them against following their slogans and calls, or tolerating their depravity and filth. In fact, their calls involve the legalization of what Allah has forbidden and the absolute departure from Allah’s laws, which is an act of apostasy from Islam – Allah forbids!
Know that, no matter how powerful and well-equipped your enemy may be, you are stronger with your faith. You are capable, through your cooperation, mutual support, and sincere advice, of repelling these poisons and defeating these waves:
وَلَا تَهِنُواْ وَلَا تَحۡزَنُواْ وَأَنتُمُ ٱلۡأَعۡلَوۡنَ إِن كُنتُم مُّؤۡمِنِينَ
“So do not weaken and do not grieve, and you will be superior if you are [true] believers.” [Qur’an 3: 139]
Then exalt and send peace to the Prophet who was sent as a mercy to all worlds. O Allah, exalt and send peace to our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and all his Companions.
O Allah, we beseech You against all those who seek to corrupt the innate nature of Muslims. O Allah, utterly destroy them and tear them apart. O Allah, count them and kill them one by one, and do not leave anyone of them. O Allah! May You not raise a banner for them, nor achieve a goal for them. Make them an example and a lesson for those who come after them. O Allah, we repel them by Your power and seek refuge in You from their evils. O Allah, turn their evil back upon them, and kill them with their own weapons. Protect us from them by whatever means You will. You are the Almighty, the Most Powerful, the Most Firm.
Our Lord, let not our hearts deviate after You have guided us, and grant us from Yourself mercy. Indeed, You are the Bestower. O Allah, forgive all Muslim - men and women, and all believers - men and women, those who are alive and those who are dead. O Allah, guide our leader to that which pleases You, direct him to righteous and good deeds. Our Lord, give us in this world [that which is] good and in the Hereafter [that which is] good and protect us from the punishment of the Fire.
O servants of Allah! Remember Allah frequently and glorify Him morning and evening, and our final supplication is that all praise is due to Allah, the Lord of the worlds.
